Sensual Poetry

Last year, when I was in NY I attended a weekend workshop on creative writing for entrepreneurs. During the 2-day the amazing Alexandra made us write poetry and I discovered something about me: I love writing poetry. Really?? Me? I was surprised and ecstatic. I felt vibrant, alive and juicy when I was writing. So I started exploring. Writing more.

I am here
Invisible sometimes
Unexpected sometimes
But I am here
The cacophony is rising
My voice is crashing
But I am here
Invisible
Unexpected
Still I am here

This is what I realise.
Every woman is a creative force

Women are creatrix. We bring life on this earth. Creation and creativity are in our natural design. As we birth our children, we can birth ourselves again, reclaiming ourselves, creating the life we desire. Nurturing your creative power allows you to access and expand this gift.

In each one of us, there is a muse, an artist. A painter, singer, writer, stylist, decorator, sculptor… The key is to explore, play and keep an open mind.

Create the life you desire

In my weekend intensive, we often write poetry to (1) inspire the women to explore the healing power of creative writing and (2) harness their innate creative power, which is intimately related to the capacity we have to create the life we truly desire.

Women are often amazed by the beauty of the poems they write in honour of the other attendees. Here is an example.

Behind her eyes
lies her strong and beautiful soul
In the lines of her body
comes the story of her courage
In her face
I see the wisdom of a warrior
A goddess in discovery
An inspiration of a woman
I am blessed and grateful
to see your shining light

Introducing Sensual Poetry

Inspired by the beauty, sensuality and poetry I see in every single class I teach, in each one of of my students, regardless of their age, size, I am launching soon a sensual poetry campaign, celebrating women through beauty, sensuality and poetry.
