The Lady Who Dreams of Tango

\"\"

I had a client come to me who was really depressed. She ran a business in Dubai and was doing really well but, although her business was successful, she felt depressed. She felt like she had no joy. Like something was missing.

We did a couple of sessions on inner child healing, clearing traumas from her childhood and restoring the relationships with her father and the mother. We looked into activating her feminine energy as well as balancing her feminine and masculine.

She was feeling better: more energized in her body and more decisive in her business but we still felt something was missing. During the 3rd session, I had an inspiration. I was looking at her and I asked her:

\”What brings you joy and pleasure? When do you have fun?\”

And she was like \”uhhh what?\”

This was a time where my work was shifting from focusing essentially on Healing the past and releasing unconscious blocks to understanding that as people clear old vibrations, they need to upload new vibrations. As they clear their pain, they need to change their relationship with pleasure by downloading higher frequencies of love.

My client said,

I don\’t really do anything.

Which prompted me to ask intuitively, \”is there anything that you\’ve been wanting to do that seems fun, that is appealing to you, that your heart is looking for or desiring?\”

\”I always wanted to take a tango class.\”

I remembered that she mentioned that in the first session but she said she couldn’t find any timing that works for her. I recommended that she book private sessions and she did!

That was the end of our work together because she came back transformed, alive, inspired, excited. She couldn’t believe she had taken so much time to finally DO IT. Her body and soul were coming alive during the class and her fire was back.

\"💃\"\"💃\"\"💃\"

Doing creative activities lights our fire, nourishes our soul, brings the life back into us. Too many people live very serious life and don’t take enough time to play.

As Brene Brown says: The opposite of play isn’t work; its depression.
We need to find a balance between career, life purpose and making time to have fun, explore and be creative. To avoid the pandemic of stress, high blood pressure, depression, exhaustion, cancers.

What is the whisper you keep hearing in your heart and ignoring?
What is the activity you keep seeing other people do and think \”I wish I could do this if I only had the money or the time?\”

What is it? And can you give yourself permission to just do it?
